Professional Practice
Due to completing Year 3 of Bachelors study during the peak of COVID-19, an in-person exhibition could not be satisfied.
This, however, lead to the task of creating a virtual exhibition for our team including each of our projects and experiential views of the interior space.
Located based on our own University building, this needed to be recreated using programs such as Revit and SketchUp.
Exhibition Space
An internal exhibition space, occupying the ground floor of our University Creative Technology building, was designed with our studio's theme in mind.
Including a green ceiling and handing display units for models for guests to walk through.
Lighting & Design
Due to the large windows wrapping one of the exterior walls, there is sufficient natural light entering the space.
We had chosen to keep the lighting dim and focused only on the pieces that are being displayed to draw attention to these whilst the natural light illuminates the rest of the space.
Boards
The standing boards needed to be designed to our studio's theme, keeping in mind that we were called 'Studio II'.
The standing boards had been designed with the heavier elements standing tall as the 'II' in our name whilst the displayed work hangs on a light wireframe between them.
