Using a redundant department store in the heart of Southampton, the structure can be repurposed to create a secondary school for 750 students.

Adjacent large spanning fields and a park, these areas can be used to house playing fields and recreational physical education grounds for students to enjoy their lunch breaks in, connecting the school to the rest of the city.

Using the existing concrete structure as the barebones of the design, these can be exposed to juxtapose against the new elements slotted inside - classrooms, workshops, cafeteria spaces, and offices for staff.
