Dementia is an increasingly prevalent condition among the elderly population, affecting 1 in 11 people over the age of 65 and posing significant challenges for both sufferers and their caregivers.

This analysis synthesises how architectural design can influence physical environments, social interactions, therapeutic interventions and caregiver support.
